The RI-PNG Military Task Force Infantry Battalion Raider 413 Kostrad Major Inf Anggun Wuriyanto S.H., M.Han said this in Muara Tami District, Jayapura City, on Thursday (26/11).
"From the report of the PosYetti Commander, Lettu Inf Bagus Dwi Hartanto, explained that the post he commanded had just carried out the distribution of staple food to residents," said Major Inf Anggun.
"He distributed fifty-six packages according to the number of houses in Yetti Village. This activity is very positive and needs to be emulated by other posts if in the same condition they still have excess staple goods left over," he added.
When confirmed directly via radio communication, Lettu Inf Bagus Dwi Hartanto said that the activity he was carrying out was the fourth time he carried out the distribution of staple food.
"Every month, thank God we can still save two sacks of rice, five boxes of instant noodles, and several kilograms of sugar and coffee. However, what we usually distribute to all households is only packages of rice and instant noodles, while sugar and coffee are often distributed to community leaders, ”explained Lettu Inf Bagus Dwi Hartanto.
"Hopefully the little material we provide can help ease the burden on the community, especially in Kampung Yetti. This is proof of our close relationship with the community that we have built for the past four months, ”said Lettu Inf Bagus Dwi Hartanto.
Mr. Lukas Wenda (45), a resident of Yetti Village, Arso Timur District, Keerom Regency, expressed his happiness over the basic ingredients that the Task Force gave him.
