The news was conveyed through a video upload of Kiai Said's personal secretary, M. Sofwan Erce on the Kang Said Official YouTube channel, on Sunday (29/11).
"Let me convey the news that on Saturday, November 28 at 19.30 WIB, the PCR swab results of KH. Said Aqil Siroj showed positive results," said Sofwan.
Sofwan added, Kiai Said deliberately ordered him to convey to the wider community, especially NU residents, regarding the news.
"With the hope of prayers from all NU members, especially the masyaikhs, I ask for prayers for his healing and strength during this healing period," he continued.
On this occasion, Sofwan also said that currently Kiai Said is in good condition and is undergoing treatment at a hospital in Jakarta. (**)
