UMMAT DAILY ■ The Grand Imam of the Islamic Defenders Front (FPI) Habib Rizieq Shihab apologized for not being able to stay in touch with the ulema, habaib, and figures after returning from Saudi Arabia some time ago.
Because, until now he still has to follow the instructions of the medical team to maintain his health. Thus Habib Rizieq said at the "National Dialogue of 100 Ulama and Figures" on Wednesday (2/12).
"I also want to apologize, namely to all figures, habaib, ulema, if until today I have not been able to meet with the figures," said Habib Rizieq.
According to HRS, this effort was a recommendation from the medical team who asked him to rest after the pick-up incident at Soekarno-Hatta Airport which had caused a stir in the country.
Even though he had ordered the FPI troops to enforce the Covid-19 protocol, it was still unstoppable.
According to Habib Rizieq, the medical team's advice to rest was not a matter of being exposed to Covid-19 or not Covid-19.
"We have repeatedly conveyed how to maintain health protocols, maintain health protocols, but how to see the enthusiasm of this community, subhanallah to thousands of laskar are unable to prevent, even though thousands of laskars have been prepared, finally those who try to shake hands, hug, and so on," he said.
In this regard, the medical team finally suggested HRS to self-quarantine, isolate themselves even though not even Covid-19.
Then, continued Habib Rizieq, apart from having to rest for some time, the medical team also asked him to continue to be routinely checked, starting from rapid tests, antigen swabs, to PCR swabs.
"On their advice, they are also regularly checked. Checked with rapid tests, swab antigen, also checked with PCR swabs and so on. So, I leave it to the medical team. So please check as well as possible and so on," said Habib Rizieq.
